Delete Account & Data
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This page explains how to delete your DocLine account and associated data, including Google Calendar credentials. Google OAuth reviewers and users can follow these steps at any time.
1. How to delete your account
If you are signed in, use the button below to permanently delete your DocLine account. You can also email us at the address on this page with the subject "Delete my DocLine account" from your registered email. We will process email requests within a reasonable period (typically within 7 days).
2. What happens to Google tokens
When you delete your account or disconnect Google Calendar, DocLine revokes your OAuth tokens with Google’s token revocation endpoint and permanently deletes the encrypted access and refresh tokens from our database. DocLine can no longer call the Google Calendar API on your behalf.
3. What happens to Google Calendar data
We do not keep a permanent copy of your full Google Calendar. Event data fetched for the in-app calendar view is used to display sync status and is not retained as a separate long-term archive after you disconnect or delete your account. Events that were previously created in your Google Calendar remain in Google Calendar (they are your events). To remove those events, delete them in Google Calendar or remove them from DocLine before disconnecting.
4. What happens to AI-generated analysis
Structured deadline records, notes, quotes, and document metadata stored in DocLine are deleted with your account. Source documents are not permanently stored after processing; any remaining analysis artifacts associated with your user ID are removed.
5. Disconnect Google without deleting your account
You can disconnect Google Calendar from the Calendar tab in the dashboard without deleting your DocLine account. You may also revoke access at Google Account → Security → Third-party access.
